Mimi's Too Bagels & Deli

Great bagel shop in Whippany, NJ, friendly people, sandwiches are fantastic! Great neighborhood restaurant! We got a dozen Bagels to go also, flew them to the west coast, served them 2 days after we bought them and people were still commenting how amazing they were.

Listen, it's a hole in the wall bagel shop that has a vibe of "sure, we might have a few screws loose, but dang can we make good food!" Generous portions, good prices, tasty food, and the staff was polite enough. Is it as clean as the Bagel Factory? No, but honestly, their food is just way better, and surprisingly good self-serve coffee. The worst part was that I didn't realize how generous they'd be about the Taylor Ham and I stupidly got extra and was like, holy crap that's a lot of Taylor Ham haha. But just look at that picture! Can't you just smell that deliciousness?

So good!! One of the best Taylor ham egg and cheese bagels I’ve ever had. Fresh and delectable. Employees were very kind and that earns a bonus star in my book.

Edit: updating to share an example. I ordered an italian sandwich with everything light mayo. Now look at this beautiful thing! I didnt and shouldve checked before I left but get home to find out here’s a thick slab of mayo on the sandwich. Love the sandwiches here they are generously portioned, well assembled, and always tasty when it’s made right! The staff is so kind but I think they lack a standardized kitchen ticket system hence the frequency of errors. I’d say of the last 5 sandwiches I bought 3 had errors. I’m usually flexible and don’t complain but I’ve started checking before I leave just to be sure!

This breakfast sandwich though. More like a breakfast, lunch, and dinner sandwich! Absolutely delicious and the fattest breakfast sandwich I think I've ever seen.
