I cannot recommend this place. The service was poor, the barista was not friendly and had an attitude. The brown sugar cinnamon coffee was just okay--nothing special--but the food was a letdown. The potato pastry was completely soggy and sad. The real dealbreaker, though, was the restroom. It was dirty, and there was absolutely no toilet paper or soap. Basic hygiene is a bare minimum for a coffee shop, and Milyar Cafe failed that test. I won't be coming back.

Good speciality coffee with clean, cozy and ornate environment! I was firstly attracted by the exterior of the cafe when we were driving. It’s a Middle Eastern-inspired cafe that sells Turkish coffee and pastries. We tried the ice Yemeni latte and ice hibiscus tea. The latte is unique with flavor of cinnamon and cardamom. It’s aromatic, smooth, and not too sweet. The tea is refreshing, lightly sour and naturally sweet. Love them both! And I wish the tea is larger, so refreshing!

I had high hopes for my visit, but unfortunately, it fell short. The table was dirty, with sticky coffee residues from a previous customer, and it wobbled so much that I struggled to cut my food without spilling my tea. While the Yemeni tea had a lovely aroma, it was served in a cup that was quite dirty, covered in oily smudges outside. I was too bothered to enjoy. The fork I received had bent tines like crooked teeth, which contributed to a rundown experience, especially considering how nice the exterior looked. I was with a friend, so I decided not to make a scene since it was her favorite café. On a positive note, the sweet desserts were excellent, although the savory pastries were just average.

I kept trying to find this place by searching “Yemeni coffee” with no luck. Had to go Sherlock Holmes on Google Maps to find it. Got a chicken roll and it was soft and succulent. Not spicy. I feel savory Arab food has all the flavor of Indian food without the heat. Dripping this review to remind myself to come back here.

Yemeni Latte was amazingly infused with cinnamon and other herbs. Adeni tea was good too with its strong flavour. Baklava was delectable. We also tried the pistachio milk cake (tres leches). The space is pretty spacious and ambience is good for a sit down tea/coffee. Parking around is limited.
