Looking at the reviews I was anticipating a great meal but rather I’m sorry to say that this food is not it. The rice wasn’t good and didn’t have any salt. Furthermore, this was supposed to be Diri Djon Djon but this was likely with Maggi Djon Djon which isn’t real Djon Djon, and it doesn’t taste good. The chicken was terrible and had no flavor. This tasted like Frozen Haitian food that’s been sitting for weeks.

Honestly, I’m not sure if I came on a bad day or at an off-time, but my first experience here genuinely made me feel like the positive reviews are misleading. The rice was completely unsalted. The meat tasted and looked like-picked-over scraps, drenched in old oil. And the sauce on the side was so rancid it made me gag. Like I had to take it out my house because I didn’t want the smell to linger. It felt more like leftovers than a prepared meal, not at all what the glowing reviews suggested. DO NOT FALL FOR THE REVIEWS.

This is the best place have never been, the food is great, the place is nice and clean. Everyone is super nice. Hey guys y’all need to go there.

I just discovered the best place in town today. That place is all I want in Fort Lauderdale. Very nice and clean. The people are super friendly and nice.

The Owner is friendly he takes time to explain each dish on the menu the Food is delicious Griot Complete rice with Peas the best Haitian food in Tamarac. This is my spot for good Haitian food
