Mill Pond Steak & Seafood

First time back since the renovation and we were greeted for our reservation with no one at the podium. Waited for a while and when nobody came to help us we asked the bartenders for help and they got the manger out to seat us. Food was great, service was a little low but we didn’t really mind that. When we left once again no one was there for us to say thank you to at the podium, instead our waiter, another waitress and the manager were sitting at the tables by the front door counting money. Over all, we loved the food but little touches like a greeter at the front door was definitely missing from the over all experience.

We celebrated our anniversary at Mill Pond, and it could not have been more perfect. From start to finish, everything was exceptional; the food, the atmosphere, the music, and most of all, the hospitality. A special mention to Antonio, truly a man of the world. He brings a depth of warmth, sophistication, and authenticity that sets this restaurant apart. The ambience- cozy yet lively, with music that sets just the right tone- made it a night to remember. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

Do not sleep on the mill pond! Since they re-opened, this has quickly become one of my husband and my favorite restaurants. The service is a true standout. I have never been to a restaurant where the staff cares more about my experience. They are so attentive and always go the extra mile in every way: checking in, asking for feedback, champagne for occasions - they make you feel so looked after. The food is also incredible, even outside of the sea food, we got the short rib and chicken parm which were delicious and the portions are big!

This is one of those “Everyone loves a comeback story” reviews - genuinely impressed with the steady improvement this place has demonstrated over the last 6-ish years. When we first moved to the area, we came here a few times. The experience was never bad, but also never great. You got what you paid for, didn’t feel ripped off or anything but deep down you knew the place had the potential to be great. Well - I can happily say that now, it is. Everything from the food to the staff attentiveness, overall atmosphere and ambiance - all on point. Couldn’t ask for more. If I have to find a thing (this has always been my pet peeve) it’s the mandatory Valet. Mill Pond treated us so very well as we celebrated our wedding anniversary and the fact that our first date was here 32 years ago. Food and service couldn’t have been better.
