Milan Indian Restaurant

A wonderful restaurant with friendly service and tasty food. We're from the NOVA area where Indian restaurants are plentiful, but most don't match the quality and taste of food served here. We ordered the Tandoor Sampler, Saag with Paneer, Garlic Naan, Kesar Kulfi, Gulab Jamun, and the Chocolate Torte. We loved all our dishes, but mind you the Chocolate Torte is rich and decadent. Your standard Chicken Tikka served at most Indian restaurants is rather bland and overcooked. But here ... Succulent, tender, moist and tasty. The Chicken Malai Tikka and the Lamb Kabob were equally tasty. Saag was flavorful, and with the rice and garlic naan, it hit the spot. The desserts were a perfect cap to a delicious meal. Insane flavors and incredible value! Still dreaming about the chicken tikka masala. We made a reservation for lunch but not required. The three of us ordered the lunch specials (chicken tikka masala, lamb saag, and goat patia). All of the meat was moist, tender, and flavorful! The lunch specials come with a choice of soup or salad, your entree, a side dish of the day, rice, and naan. The chicken tikka masala was the star of the show, aromatic, creamy, and the perfect amount of spicy. We ordered medium spice across the table with the patia being the spiciest! Can’t wait to go back.

As an Indian, I can confidently say Milan Indian Food brings back the warm, nostalgic flavors of my grandma’s kitchen. The goat korma is absolutely a must-try—rich, tender, and spiced to perfection. The chicken seekh kebabs are juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of char. Don't skip the appetizer chaat of the day—it’s always a delightful surprise that sets the tone for the rest of the meal. The onion kulcha is the unsung hero, tying everything together with its fluffy, fragrant, and savory goodness. The service? Phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. This is comfort food done right. I’ll be back.

Chicken a tad dry, and I asked for “Indian hot and spicy”, and it’s not barely even a small burn. Second time I’ve ordered from them asking for it. Not sure if they lie about the spiciness, lazy with preparation or what. My gf ordered medium and then hot both times and everything is the same level. For an authentic Indian place I’d expect at least “tobasco” level hot. Definitely more authentic Indian spots out there

5 STARS - We visit several times a month, we drive 2 hours just to eat here, It is our all-time favorite, They are consistently top notch, We usually get the Lassoni Gobi - a Battered fried cauliflower in a rich spicy tomato sauce, Pashwari naan bread, Love all the chicken dishes and the Coastal Shrimp Curry. The place is Clean, well maintained, waitstaff is impeccable, food is top notch, and overall it is very relaxing and enjoyable.
