Mikki's Soul Food Cafe

This was our first trip into this location. We normally go to the one near Sugarland. We were pleasantly surprised by the large number of veterans who were frequenting this location as my husband is an honorably discharged Marine :) I truly wondered if I was going to get him into the restaurant and out of the parking lot because he started hanging out and talking with all the other men!! Once he did make it and we were pleased to say that the food was exactly the same quality as the other location and the staff were over the top nice and helpful. I highly recommend!!!

Excellent food at a convenient location. The catfish looked delicious and so did the smothered chicken. I got a soul food bowl with mac & cheese greens and yams which were all wonderful and beef tips were pretty good but I’m gonna go with the catfish next time

I’m new to the area and had heard this was the best soul food spot to satisfy your soul food cravings and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, the staff made my first visit unforgettable. KK, Kenya, Kyle, and the manager Alexis (hope I spelled that right!) were all so welcoming and attentive. I truly loved my experience at this location. 100/10 recommend! The cleanliness, customer service, and food were all amazing.

It was such a cute place!!! Very aesthetically pleasing! The food was really good and fresh. My only thing was the Mac n cheese didn't hit like I hoped it would but the fried chicken, collards, yams and cornbread were 🔥 The music was everything, 90s r&b mostly. I sung every song loud and proud 🤣 The drinks had us giggling until the next day! Very affordable and strong 🤣 Definitely going back because the baked chicken looked even better than fried! Banana pudding was good too, I'd just prefer my cookies on the side so they don't get soft quick.

First time visiting the area! The food was amazing, the service was A++++++. Alexis and Jasmine were vibes, very welcoming, energetic, and soooo friendly. Left an amazing impression on my family! Will be bragging on my IG @everythingwithrayl! Thank you again from Jersey With Love!!!
