Mike's Restaurant & Crabhouse

Great service and little wait time for the food. They brought the food out as they were finished. Crabs were not too salted or crusted with Old Bay seasoning. My crab cake was broiled and was seasoned perfectly for me; it was not salty but tasty. My daughters had oysters. They enjoyed them. The hush-puppies had corn in them which were like how my mama made them. Must be a Maryland thing. They served mixed drinks, but I did the Arnold Palmer ice tea. The weather was fantastic that day it was around 4:30 pm and it wasn't crowded (It was a weekday). Loved being with my daughters and enjoyed Maryland seafood in season!

Very large restaurant. Seems to cope well tho. Friendly service. Large food portions. We had the crab balls. Plenty of meat filling. We shared the pub haddock sandwich which was more than enough for two people. Everyone’s food around us looked tasty too.

As a Pennsylvania resident, it is difficult to find seafood as good as this for a price as good as this. You need to visit here if you are passing near Riva, MD. The area is pretty nice as well, the nearby town is pretty ritzy. I got the crab cake sandwich, which was amazing!!!! Do yourself a favor and get the fried calamari. and buttermilk onion rings as well

The food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. I ordered the broiled seafood platter with a house salad and a baked potato. My bestie ordered the seafood imperial with a caesar salad and fries. The service was great and the prices weren't bad for what we ordered. It was freezing inside. It wasn't very hot outside, so they could have turned the air down.

Make this a destination stop if you already haven't! The crabs are fresh and they have a wide variety of dishes including those for the land lover. The "Crab Balls" and "Crab Cakes" are spectacular, real Maryland style. On our latest stop through, we ate there five times in three days and were not disappointed at any time. We had the steamed crabs (med & large), snow crab clusters, soft shell crabs, oysters, crab balls, crab cakes, seafood platters, clams casino and several of their signature drinks. Every meal was an absolute delight!!!!
