Mike's Place

Mike's Place is a solid spot where the food is genuinely the star of the show. The menu delivers on flavor and the portions are generous and satisfying. Service was decent but a bit slow and inconsistent during our visit — could use some improvement during busier hours. The atmosphere is pretty bare bones and no-frills which is fine if you're just there for the food. Worth a visit for a casual meal even if the overall experience is a bit uneven.

Our waitress was hostile. No reason for me to go back and be treated like that. Food was good so I'm not happy to write this review. Not going to spend money and be treated like that. There were signs, we were laughing about this. I guess we were warned. I wont be back for a long long long time. Maybe I'll wait for a "under new managment" or some other signal it's OK to try again. ZERO chance I'm going back after being treated like that.

This place is wild. You wanna get gaslighted.. come here. My friend and I went to this location for dinner. As I told my order to the waiter he asked me to confirm my order which he got correct when I repeated it back to him. He brings me the wrong order and as I go to mention it to him, he goes, “ no, that’s not what you asked for.” I was shocked by his response even though he asked me for my order twice and yet got it wrong anyways. He left the food in the table which I didn’t eat. Some man, which I’m guessing is the manager noticed the untouched food and asked if everything was alright into which I explained to him the situation and I asked him to take the food away because I didn’t want it at the point. Arrived to Mike's place just after 4:40 to have a cup of coffee, hot water, and fries. less than 30 mins later from receiving the food that we barely touched, because we were so busy discussing business and catching up; when we receive a check we didn't ask for. This wasn't an issue, but it felt funny... The issue was after, when telling our waitress we weren't ready to leave, we can clearly hear the host say "what do you mean they aren't ready!?" with such an attitude that I felt the need to address it. When i ask, he tells me "there is no issue, but this is a business, you been here 2-3 hours " so he clearly had an issue with us being there for "too long" So I ask for clarification. "Can we be here as long as we are ordering and eating?" which he reply's "yes, but as long as you don't

My favorite diner to enjoy breakfast. The morning wait staff are so friendly and kind always welcoming us and ensuring we are well taken care of. The breakfast menu is great we love the old fashion French toasts and waffles. Thank you for a great experience always
