Mike's Place

Calamari was good. Softest I’ve ever had not rubber and chewy at all. Apple martinis were delicious especially with bits of dried apple in them. Yummm. Had the shrimp and grits. Again delicious. The crème brûlée custard was ok. The topping was too chewy like toffee. The chocolate cake was good.

My family was on our way to Missouri for a Thanksgiving trip, but we wanted to stop in Arkansas to meet with some family. They recommend we meet them at Mike's Place. There were about 15-20 people in our group. Every single one of them commented that the food they received was some of the best ever! I ordered the chicken alfredo as was also very impressed! The waiter was very comfortable and helpful considering how many people he was dealing with! I highly recommend this restaurant!

This review is long overdue! I visited Mike's Place in July 2024. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and inviting. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits: jumbo gulf shrimp piled on Southern grits topped with a savory butter sauce. They were the best shrimp and grits i had ever had! The Mike's Place team was kind and attentive. I highly recommend Mike's Place!

Mike’s Place is hands down one of the best spots to eat in Conway. The filet was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food. The fried green tomatoes were also incredible and some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere is great and the service was friendly and welcoming. I also know the owner personally, and it’s awesome to see the amount of pride and effort that goes into this place. It definitely shows in the food and the experience. If you’re in Conway and looking for a great meal, Mike’s Place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I have to start outside, in the Old Town area of Conway the building has been well kept with a genuine Old Town look with lots of architectural ironwork which I love. Inside I was greeted by Owner Mike, who asked about the cap I had on, from my hometown, and turns out he not only has family there, But had a cousin who had been a very dear friend of mine several years back. Service, Excellent! Food, Very Excellent Also!! Atmosphere, Well I cant say what it might be all the time? But if you go at a time when Mike himself is there,,, I guarantee it's gonna be great! We have a daughter in school in Ft Smith, and and sometimes to be able to see her at all its just to meet for a quick visit and a meal at halfway in Conway, and how Mikes Place has stayed off of our list and radar this long is jus
