Thank you to Mike's pastry shop for a job well done on a custom cake order!! The staff worked with me over the phone to meet my ask of a peanut butter chocolate cake. We ended up with a fudge covered chocolate cake with a peanut butter frosting inside. The quality of the cake surpassed my expectations! Thinking it would be very rich it was a perfect balance of sweetness and the cake itself soft and fluffy. I would absolutely order again for any event or birthday.

I recently visited this bakery and was very pleased! The cookies were just wonderful - fresh and delicious. The cupcakes were delicious too. I especially want to mention the cake - it was not too sweet, just right, and very fresh. The service was also good. I recommend this bakery to everyone.

After seeing so much advertising on Facebook, we decided to try it. For the price we paid for a small cake, I don't think it was worth it. The cake was very dry, bland, and tasteless. The cream, was very basic. Maybe we just didn't choose the right choice. I expected something much better, we paid almost $50 dls. I couldn't even eat a whole slice. In fact, everyone who tried it only took one or two bites and then left it. Nobody ate a full slice! I felt bad; I feel like nobody liked that cake. I'm very disappointed.

Mike’s Pastry Shop is the best bakery in Antioch. The strawberry chiffon cake is legendary in our family, light and fluffy with just the right mix of strawberries and cream. It has been our go-to birthday cake for years and no celebration feels complete without it. The staff is always friendly, the service is great, and every treat we have tried has been delicious. Truly a local gem.

This place has been around forever! My Mom would take me here to pick out cookies when I was knee high! I continue to come here for cookies and high end pastries. You have to remember the "Yoch" doesn't have stand alone bakeries. My to die for cookies...DIVINITY. I've never had them anywhere else! They are small thick white powdered sugar bars with nuts in them. When you take a bite it's sweet with a hint of butter and vanilla. I don't know what's really in there (crack) but amazing!
