What a wonderful jewel to find along our road trip. It's a local bar & grill. Kimberly was our very pleasant waitress. We were lucky enough to meet Wanda. A beautiful sole that had worked there many years, then became an order.
The food was amazing! Loved the chicken tenders.
I had a fabulous meal at a great price. Tri-tip open faced with mashed and salad. With a beer for under $25 with tip. Where else? Bartender was nice and attentive.
Mike and Wanda's is the go to place for locals and a great place to stop if you are hungry as you are heading to the Lava Beds National Park. They offer great home style meals at a reasonable price.
I have to cut my review short of five stars since the waiting time for food is super long. Calling your order in and then picking your food up seems to be the best method. The food is great and the people are great, but the wait time kills it.
