09-19-2025 We came to Austin to visit our brother. He recommended this place for a lunch gathering. Glad he did; everyone in our party enjoyed what he/she ordered. The food was extra delicious due to Saki’s attentiveness and superb service! I look forward to dining here again the next time am in town. Ordered: -Grilled Salmon Bento $16.90 -Tonkatsu Bento $15.90 -Broiled Red Snapper Bento $15.90 -Beef Yakisoba Bento $16.90 -Rainbow Roll Combo $17.90 -Sushi & Sasmi Combo $18.90 -Green Tea $5 -Salmon Roll $12 Thanks Saki for suggesting the Rainbow Roll Combo! It was the perfect choice for me : )
Fishy, fishy, fishy.....YUCK!! I could barely eat the fish it tasted old and fishy. It was very dark, not romantic dark, just dark and depressing in there. Our server was very sweet and attentive but I will not go back. Takara in Cedar Park has set our standard and every where else we go is a disappointment for Sushi! The plum wine was nice.
Our favorite spot! We come here weekly for our date night and it is always a perfect evening. The sushi is fresh and delicious (our favorites are the fatty tuna, salmon, and yellowtail), there’s a good sake selection (try the Demon Slayer!) and the staff is super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The ambience is extra cozy with the decor and good covers on the radio, plus golf on the TV. The ideal chill vibe. Glad this place exists! We’ve been to the fancy sushi spots around town, and there’s a reason we keep coming back here. Highly recommend.
Gem in North Austin! The sushi chef was clearly a master of aesthetic delivering a beautiful plate of art. Everything was delicious, especially the Saba and Anago. Service was spectacular and the bathrooms were spotless. Authentic and delicious. Highly recommend.
Tried a selection of sushi and got a roll. Decent sushi with a decent rice to fish ratio on the nigiri. Nothing fancy but decent sushi.
