Middletown Thrall Library

I absolutely love Middletown Thrall Library! The customer service is always top-notch. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to assist with anything you need. Whether it's printing up to five pages for free or accessing a computer, they make everything so easy and accessible. I also appreciate the privacy they offer, allowing for a quiet, focused environment. One of my favorite features is the job wall, which is such a thoughtful touch for those looking for new employment opportunities. It's truly a community hub, and I'm so grateful for the support they provide. Highly recommend!

The security staff is very passive aggressive, specifically the heavy set bald man, gets too close in your face to confront “situation “aka me sitting me my seat whispering not even being disruptive. Then proceeded to ask if I had no where to sit after leaving the drag he complained about me sitting in.

Library is very useful. Staff is accommodating. Library is a little outdated. Children’s section is a decent size.

Unacceptable behavior. Invasion of privacy. They manually unlock the bathrooms when someone else is inside and just go in. Their excuse is they've had drug incidents in the past inside the bathrooms. However, that doesn't mean you just go inside the bathroom because someone else doesn't have the patience to wait 10 minutes.

Was hoping to use as a place to get work done in peace but guess I'llkeep looking around. Unfortunately, staff has full blown conversations and chatter with no regard to patrons trying to read or get work done. Floor plan is very open so they can still be heard in the reading area even to the side. This isn't the first time I've tried to work out of this library and it seems to continue to be a problem. Very disappointing.
