Middlefield Tavern

Food was Amazing, service eas Great, Atmosphere was perfect. Family had Dinner. I had the Roman Burger and Cajun fries. Kids had chicken tenders/nuggets and fries. Wife had chicken cordon blue sandwhich and fries, my mother had all American burger and onion rings. As I said everything food, service, atmosphere all was great. Only one issue. My mother is 79 years old and needs a rolator to get around. Suggestion to add a ramp at the entrance from the parking lot so it is easier for those in need of it. She made it up the steps but was a small challenge for her and down when we left. Just would have been helpful with a ramp.

This small-town tavern serves up surprisingly delicious food, with the burger and French onion soup being standouts. The unique clientele, a mix of locals and Amish visitors, makes for an interesting and memorable dining experience. Don't set up your expectations too high, and you will have a good time.

We stopped in for dinner after visiting the Geauga County Fair. The place is well kept and spacious. My wife and I both chose burgers. I chose the Black Jack Burger medium and it was cooked perfectly. Loaded with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and special sauce. It was the same experience for my wife's Ultimate Black and Blue Burger. We ordered the appetizer fries to share as a side dish. These were perfectly cooked with a crispy outer crunch and a fluffy center. Looking forward to visiting again when we come back to Middlefield.

Went yesterday we sat down waitress came put menus down said just so you know not serving food, which was strange when so many was already sitting there eating, well I have cancer so we both walked in with mask, is that the reason we couldn't get food? That's how we both feel. We heard they had great food guess now will never find out we left, and watch they make a excuse some thing wasn't working, most people had food eating

First time going to this local place and I was not disappointed! Had the MT burger with onion rings and both were great! Really big menu, too. Casual, cozy neighbourhood spot- will definitely be back!
