Mickey's Gyros & Ribs

I’m an Oak Park local who didn’t feel like driving to Mickey’s on Mannheim in Bellwood so I stopped here for the first and last time (I honestly thought they were the same until I asked the lady at the front and still decided to try a different place). I ordered an Italian beef, dipped, hot peppers with mozzarella cheese. The beef was packed with meat and peppers so 10/10 for portion size but the meat was fatty and dry! My bread was also dry and very lightly dipped. Never again, I’ll drive an extra 15 minutes to Mickey’s in Bellwood where my beef and bread is never dry after being dipped!

How do you order a gyro cheeseburger and receive a gyro NO cheeseburger? They literally gave me a gyro onion tzatziki sandwich. When I called the merchant to complain about my burger having no patty on it the service was horrible. Literally this thing costs 6.99 and the attitude that the manager had on the phone was obsurd! He literally told me to bring my burger back to get credit he even said hold it until tomorrow to get credit? So I’m supposed to starve myself because your kitchen messed up? Omg what horrible service this is. You should treat every customer equally. You never know who you are serving or speaking to.

Almost always get the Big Mickey double cheese burger, and it's always fresh and amazing! The service was also phenomenal! This time the gyro plate was our choice for dinner with extra pitas to go with that pound of meat. The food is always outstanding!
