Mi Toro Mexican Restaurant

The menu is huge. Lots of choices. Please check out the online menu. Very reasonable prices. Appetizers like nachos, guacamole, queso. Salads. One soup- chicken. Steak, chicken and shrimp dishes. Vegetarian options. Kids menu. Desserts too. The portions are large. The food was served hot. Everyone’s taste is different. We like flavorful food; some may say spicy. This food is not spicy at all. The salsa is just puréed tomato. The tortilla chips are crispy and unsalted. The Mexican rice and refried beans are ok. Again, portions are large. The flavors are very mild.

We stopped off here while traveling to Gulf Shores and needed a place to eat, feed my 6 month old, and also needed to change her. We felt the food was absolutely delicious and atmosphere was wonderful. Only thing I will say is that this place needs a baby changing table in the women’s bathroom. I was glad I brought a changing pad. I had to place it on floor of bathroom to change her, which made it a little difficult for me. Otherwise, I highly recommend stopping here!!

Could not wait to rate this restaurant 5 stars. Every single person working there was personable and energetic from the door to the table and back, start to finish. I'll be back next chance I get!

Great service & atmosphere. Loved our waiter & the food was delicious as always.

Food could use some more seasoning, but the waiter was great and it is a traditional Tex-Mex restaurant.
