Mi Rancho Mexican Restaurant - Hackensack

This was my last straw! I frequent this place, because I actually love their tacos (when done properly). I have experienced inconsistency to another degree. I drive from towns away, just to be disappointed most times. I have finally learned my lesson. Ordered tacos to go-soft shells were microwaved in a plastic ‘to-go’ container…chicken seems steamed in the microwave…and the few pieces of steak were dry. Not chancing it and wasting my time or money anymore!! Truly disappointing that I have to discard this meal UPDATE (as of 107/2025) So, while I appreciate the generic response (which offered no resolution), I realize that my concerns aren’t as valid as the people who are “Local Guides”…Ill take my money elsewhere, and be sure to make my coworkers aware of my experience so they do not wast

We have been going to Mi Rancho for many years. Food it’s always good and consistent. It is also a BYOB.

Big delicious BIRRIA BURRITO free nachos with salsa delicious horchata. This is a must dine in experience. Delicious tacos al pastor

Delicious.. I've been eating here once or twice a week for over 15 years..It's family owned and they are awesome people...For appetizers I recommend (1) queso fundido with extra tortillas(peppers and chorizo in cheese)...(2)stuffed jalapenos w shrimp/cheese.. (3)crab empanaditas with fresh cilantro..(4)a new appetizer of chicken chicharron (think the best fried chicken you've ever had) ..They have really excellent skirt steak(available without mole) fajitas, salmon, and chicken( love the creamy chicken ranchero)..The burritos are awesome too.. And, they have specials every week..The other day I had a tripe soup for the first time...Basically, it's all good.. It is a BYOB and one of my favorite places to meet friends for good food and drinks... And, dining here is also affordable. They clos
