Mi Ranchito Viejo

Had some food delivered and got very sick. The food had definitely been sitting out for a while and was not prepared well. There was mold on the corn husk used for the tamal. I ordered a few pan which I threw in the garbage as they were two or thee days old. I feel bad leaving the review as it looks like a family owned business but the quality and food safety standards are lacking. There are many other restaurants who dedicate time, effort, and quality to serving fresh food.

The other day I got, Mi Ranchito Viejo, for lunch. I got their Fried Chicken w/ White Rice & Black Beans, and man was it a treat. The wings were seasoned very well and their Black Beans were amazing! So happy I stopped here. The lady who took my order was very patient and helped make the ordering process seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Plainfield area!

I come here often. It’s a good spot that has a lot of different varieties in central american food. The waitresses are extremely delightful and it’s overall a great place.

Food was not good at all and took 45 mins for 3 pupusas and the girls with glasses have nasty attitude. I ask for a manager and she said they have no manager and do wherever she want , I would not recommend to anyone . Never going back. Doesn't even deserve a one star.

They can do it much better, needs some music, and some more update of the place...
