Mi Ranchito Mexican Bar and Grill

Clean dinner area. Food came out timely and super impressed with the assortment of flavors. Good compliment of sweet and heat. A hidden gem in Lenoir County in a super small town. The whole menu seems worth trying.

The best food to come out of this building thus far. This place has changed hands several times and this is the best yet ! The only complaint and only complaint is the house salsa, too watery and absolutely no heat, it has definitely been americanized. So friends and neighbors , if you want some outrageous flavor and heat to boot, ask for the pineapple salsa. The green salsa is also good and is the "red" salsa. It's made from roasted peppers. But this place was hopping on a Tuesday night in little ol pink hill. This is good food yall. And I been to Mexico.

I must say that this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff is friendly. We don’t always eat in but we sure take out. I’m so happy they are near to me. Services is good. I always have them add mushrooms to my Shrimp Chimichangas and a side of Queso. To die for. Portions are great. Just go and see for yourself.

I actually ordered take out today February 27 2026 and it was horrible! I have eaten here before and it was good. Today, I picked it up and it was cold when I got home( 3 miles) like it had been heated up. Not freshly cooked. The quesadilla I got (only ordered one and got two) was nothing like it had been before. I realize it comes with two but the flavoring wasn’t a grilled one either. It has what looked like was spice on the meat. I have eaten at a many of restaurants and it tasted great but this was nasty. I got an enchilada as well and I don’t know what sauce they use but it was gross. 🤢 Nothing like I’ve ever tasted! To top it all off, the online menu is not even correct. You just can’t get good food or service unless you eat at home! I’m so disappointed!!

It’s decent Mexican food for a small town like Pink Hill. Only 2 servers were working when we went so it took a bit for any refills. Food came pretty prompt though! I got the Chimichanga Mi Ranchito with no mushrooms. It was good!
