Mi Pueblo Viejo Mexican Restaurant

Food was delicious hot and fresh, they were busy but still calm and collected. Will definitely be back every time we are on our way to Mexico and back! Had the egg with chorizo burrito. Plenty of parking! Hidden Gem in a small town!

Large open dining .clean restrooms. Clean dishes and utensils. I sat in booth in the corner. Easy to read menu with pictures. Handicap helpful.

I visited here with local friends, who recommended it as their "go-to" place for Mexican style food in the area. It definitely did not disappoint. The service was great, and very personal. I could tell my friends go there often; the service staff knew them well. The food was terrific, and very reasonably prices. I ordered the Beef Fajita Marinada, or #16 on the menu. It definitely did not disappoint. Everything was VERY well prepared; the beef was tender and full of flavor. The beans were good; my two favorite items though were the rice, and the tortillas! The tortillas were thick and freshly prepared, and the rice had lots of ingredients and lots of flavor! It was definitely worth our visit, and we will definitely be back!

Great portions, delicious food. Worth the price. We had come down from Houston and had been looking for a great spot to park the trailer . This stop was well worth it, nice n full ready to keep driving south.

The waitress and cashier provided great service and treated me with great manners. Can’t say the same about the food: first had a menudo, and had to have it retreat; it just didn’t taste right and it had similar scent to being raw. I ask for the street tacos 2nd; the were ok, but not delicious; the tasted precooked.
