Mi Mex Cocina

If your looking for good guac, this is the place! I loved that the chips tasted home made and the guac had so much flavor! I also really enjoyed the pork tacos! The meat was tender with great flavor

The moment I walked into Mi Mex Cocina, I knew I'd fall in love. This place is absolutely adorable. The artwork, the ambiance, the music and lighting were wonderful. There is outdoor seating but it was too cold to sit outside once it warms up, I'm definitely venturing out onto the deck. The food was absolutely delicious, very authentic! AND the serving size for their meals and appetizers are huge. Happy to take home leftovers! And the bonus, although it's not needed to compliment the amazing food we were served, there are complimentary margaritas and they are delicious!!! The staff were so kind and welcoming. Definitely on my list of places to return.

Went here for my birthday dinner. We're not from the area, so I had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere is a little "kitschy" but still fun to look around, and it was very clean - so bonus points there. The chips and salsa were great - the guacamole was definitely homemade. I got the veggie burrito and it was wonderful to have veggies other than onions and peppers. My partner had the carne asada tacos and said they were "worth the mess". Portion sizes were very generous (keep that in mind when they bring out the chips). And, when the server/mgr/owner(?) heard it was my bday, he brought out an incredible tres leche cake and even sang to me! All in all, a wonderful birthday dinner!

I can’t believe this was our first time eating here after years of visiting family in the area. Not only is the decor fun and vibrant, but the food is very authentic, fresh, and cooked perfectly. This place is BYOB, but they also offer complimentary margaritas which was a nice surprise. There was only one server the night we were there and while we did have to wait a while for our food, it came out hot and our drinks were refilled promptly. The chicken mole was AMAZING - so tender you could shred it with a fork. It was served with 4 tortillas (your choice of flour or corn), seasoned rice, and beans. Plenty of food for the price, and it was even enough to take home for lunch the next day. Can’t wait to come back - I’d like to try the fajitas next!

My new favorite Mexican food Restaurant! Great service from the friendly staff. Food came out quick, hot, and just spicy enough. The chips and salsa were super good. The fajitas and tacos were perfect—just needed one more tortilla than the two it came with.
