Mi Jalisco Mexican Restaurant

I used to live close by and would go here regularly from 2012-2025 but the food and serving portions lately have definitely gone downhill. The margarita mix has changed to some weird chemical flavor. I could not finish the one I ordered. Not to forget, the price increases... the advertised 'specials' are only $1 off regular menu price.

Good spot!! Not giving 5 stars because it's close by; rather, the service is quick and friendly and the food was excellent for the value!! Pacata!!! Chimicanga is fire! Fajitas we're great!! Thanks for adding Esquite to the menu!! I love street corn!!!!

Everything we had was amazing. Chips n dip, margarita not too sweet exactly like I requested, amazing entrees. We got the arroz con pollo and the enchiladas rancheras. The plates were hot which kept our food warm while we ate. It was even better than I remembered. One of the best!!

I've been here a few times and always thought it was an average place, but it's been quite a while. I'm not sure if they changed the menu or what, but the food tonight was amazing! They also had a number of items I've hadn't seen at other places. Thought their salsa was really good and had a little kick. On the menu, there was a section with some unique tacos. I got the El Guapo. First, they were huge. Honestly, after eating some chips and salsa, I could only eat one. Cute place with bright, colorful displays on the seats. Small little bar in the back with a couple of chairs. Decent sized outside seating. Great Service. Excellente, MI Jalisco!

I've been coming here for like 20 years and I've never been disappointed. I come dine in and order take out all the time. My wife is from Mexico and this is her favorite Mexican restaurant in the Richmond area. There are a ton of great options on the menu and there's always specials going on as well.
