Mi Casita Mexican Restaurant

Well, I’ve been coming to this restaurant almost 10 years. It’s one of the only places in the entire area that has a large area for truck parking. It’s only open 6a-2p but that is usually perfect. This morning I finished a job a few miles up the road and haven’t eaten in over 24 hours. I came here, parked and was waiting for the restaurant to open when at 5am the lady that is the server here came and knocked on my truck and everyone else’s and told us all we cannot park here. She said people drive by and think they are busy and don’t stop. She said this is a restaurant, we open at 6 and you cannot be parked here. I said ok, it’s a restaurant and I know for certain several of us are waiting for the place to open so we can eat. If I have to leave now, 5:15am, there is no where at all in the

Mi Casita Mexican Restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stopped by with co-workers and had a great experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is fast—our plates arrived quickly and nice and warm. The Mexican Plate was delicious and the sweet tea is a must-try. Highly recommend for a team lunch or a solid local meal!

Don't let the building fool you. A great little find. We stopped for lunch as we were heading South on I37. Probably the best place between San Antonio and Corpus!

Best hole in the wall restaurant around the county!!! felt like mama was in the kitchen cooking for me!

Fantastic hole in the wall spot definitely a hidden gem. I recommend the carne guisada tacos, the meat was really flavorful, tender and tasted great. The flour tortillas were fresh which was a nice touch. Service was amazing. Highly recommend a stop here if you are around the area, I know I will be getting those carne guisada tacos one more time.
