Mi Cabana Mexican Restaurant

Friend took me to this place and I was surprised by the speed of service and quality of food. First, they give you a basket of free tortilla chips and salsa. I ordered a steak quesadilla which came with 2 of them and a side of rice. The sizing was generous and got great bang for my buck. Would come here again.

My oh my! The al pastor was phenomenal, and you definitely didn’t skimp on the portion compared to local Mexican restaurants. The music instantly brought me back home. No one else in the area has flan, so that alone made me happy—overall, everything was great. I also have to mention the hot sauces. You gave me two red sauces, and the darker one had serious heat while still being incredibly flavorful. Easily one of the best hot sauces I’ve had. The only critique I have is that while the flan itself was firm, the caramel was a bit too watery.

My wife had the two beef tacos. We think the tacos at El Certo are better. I had the large burrito that was stuffed with chicken and rice and refried beans. To me it had just the right amount of spice to make it tasty

Normally love this place, the food is usually pretty good and the service is ok. We stopped there last night and when the brought the check it had a large gratuity automatically added. I had them remove it because, 1. we did not have a large party and 2. I prefer tipping the amount I want. They said they would remove it and took my card. I left a cash tip and today when I checked my bank acct. I saw that they lied and charged my card the gratuity. After being a longtime, loyal customer and having them lie and steal my money like that, We will find a new Mexican restaurant to eat at.

Absolutely impressed by this place. Though when I walked in I believed the decor to be a little cheesy and eclectic and the nicely carved chairs to be a little too much it was definitely an amazing place. The staff was friendly and amazing. The food was absolutely perfectly prepared and was not messy like a lot of Mexican restaurants. The portion sizes were large and delicious. The time it took to actually get our food was utterly surprising. It seemed like only a few minutes. The daily specials are great, but not only did we get the Monday hard tacos to go, but we got chips to add with it. Very impressed. Thank you.
