Mezza Luna Pizzeria & Restaurant

Mezza Luna is a nice restaurant. I was recommended this restaurant a few times by friends of mine and stopped by recently to try it out. The portions sizes are good and the food is quite tasty. I like their chicken and pasta dishes a lot. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant inside the restaurant and the service is attentive. I look forward to dining here again soon.

My wife and I enjoy the new ownership and new rennovations. The menu remains true to its Italian selections and also provides some non-listed specials; usually a steak or prime rib protein, a fish, and vegetable plate. Managers and servers are always very attentive and accomodating. One night, I asked if I could order a shrimp cocktail appetizer, though it wasn't on the menu, and the server came back telling us it would be fine. It was delicious! My favorite standard menu item is the chicken francaise, which is made with fresh tasting lemony flavor; the best I've had. My wife typically enjoys the pasta dishes. She recently ordered the spaghetti carbonara. The portion was so satisfying, she still has leftovers from her leftovers. Prices are slightly on the higher end, but you are always gua

Chicken picatta was really greasy & I wish it had been cooked longer. Calamari was ok. Shirley temple had no cherry & not enough syrup. The bread you get to start was pretty good. The staff never came back to check on us after we got our food, which meant it took a to eat. Also took 10 minutes to get seated even though it wasn't crowded. The place itself was fine; clean, very standard looking restaurant. Though I don't know why it says it has outdoor seating? It doesn't. Also, the pizza is takeout only. Overall, it's edible, but not somewhere I would recommend.

Very nice service and courteous. Always asking how everything is going. Good was very good and mouth watering. Steak was juicy and cooked the way I asked. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a relaxing evening and wanting a good meal at a descent price.

Best Italian restaurant in all of Putnam! The food here is exquisite. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and I have nothing but good things to say about it all. From the appetizers to the main courses and all the specials. It’s all delicious. The staff are attentive and super accommodating to anything I want to adjust. Highly recommend and will be returning for more amazing food. See you soon!
