Mezquite Mexican Cuisine

Excellent restaurant. Food was great and the service was as well. The drink deals were also really good, some great margaritas. I’ve been to Mexico a few times, and eating this food felt like I was back there, especially the chilaquiles

Small.place. small bar. Staff were great. Work very hard. Had a long wait. Was told 20 to 30 minutes but was almost an hour. Granted, a couple tables had large parties so lot of tables joined together for that. Margarita's were weak. Guacamole was very good. Mole sauce was very good. Chips and salsa were good. I think they had a call ahead for a table but those people still waited. Very small waiting area. I'd go back but during the week maybe wait won't be so long. I do recommend this place.

Hear me out!! This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have found in Norfolk County. Coming from Mexico City, I look for a place that feels like home — and Mestizo delivers in every possible way. Excellent and fiendly service!!! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family. The food is the real deal, this is comida hecha con amor. Now let’s talk tequila. Their selection is seriously real good! You can’t go wrong. Mesquite is a gem, and I’m rooting for them big time. If you’re craving authentic Mexican flavors and warm, top-tier service, this is the spot. ¡Provecho!

Very authentic and delicious food at reasonable prices. Huuuuge portions! Our server was Blanca, who was very sweet and treated us extra special for our wedding anniversary! Turns out that today was Mezquite’s anniversary, too! :-)
