Highly recommend this restaurant! The food is of the highest quality the salads are very fresh and it looks very very clean, I had a meeting with a partner who came from out of town and it was very pleasant to sit with him in the restaurant and talk it was not too noisy plenty of parking we did not wait at all for a table even though there were a lot of people in the restaurant we were seated immediately and the food came relatively quickly thank you very much for the amazing service! Highly recommend
The food is to die for!!! Delicious and tasty you will not be disappointed!! Jeff is amazing and this restaurant is always going to be on my top list of restaurants in Houston!! If you are visiting from out of town please try this place! I will definitely come again!!
Mexicano has the best kosher burger I’ve had in Houston. juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. On top of that, their Mexican food is amazing too… fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. It’s not easy to find a place that nails both burgers and Mexican and kosher but they really do. The staff is super friendly. Definitely a go-to spot when I’m craving something delicious and kosher in Houston.
I enjoyed some unique items on their Mexican menu for lunch and dinner. The food was fresh and tasty, and the dessert was delicious! All items were kosher-sealed and delivered to my hotel.
“Mexicano.” Just that. No subtitle, no context, just the name of an entire people slapped on the menu like it’s a menu item. Imagine a restaurant simply called “Jew.” You’d pause for a moment, right? Exactly. The name alone is a bit… bold. Now, the irony is that this place is a kosher restaurant attempting Mexican food, while also wandering off into Mediterranean territory… shawarma, tahini, baba ganoush, the whole caravan. I’m not opposed to culinary fusion, but this felt less like fusion and more like someone spinning a globe and pointing at random cuisines. But the real offense wasn’t philosophical. It was biological. The meat was so undercooked that I briefly wondered if the cow might still qualify for veterinary care. Calling it “rare” would be generous. Calling it “raw” would be a
