Metro Mart Int'l African Restaurant

My friend put me on to this restaurant. I walked in and showed the lady whose name is Esther what I wanted. She came out with the food which took her about 10 min to prep. The food was absolutely amazing and we conversated about our family backgrounds. Definitely coming back here!!!

Just wanted to post a good review of this place. Small little grocery with kitchen working magic in the back. It’s small, but has authentic ingredients and items for purchase in the store, but what me and my wife really go there for was the food. It did not disappoint, if you are looking for authentic, look no further, and the portions are huge too. The lady was working by herself it seemed so don’t expect fast food, but definitely good food with kind service. Would have it again.

The food here is incredible! Every meal is authentic and rich in flavor. My favorite African food spot in the City! (Order 30-40mins before pick-up, the food is made fresh). Today- Peanut soup with fish and plantain 😋

I always forget to take a pic of my food before I eat it because it’s that dang good. I travel 40 mins each way to come get her food. We get waayke with goat meat and jollof rice and it is scrumptious and consistent in flavor each time. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an authentic Ghanaian shop. I pass several African restaurants in my way to her and will continue to do so.

It was my first time shopping there and I went to the store to get some stuff. When I got home, I decided to check the expiration date, then I realized that what I bought expired since 2022. I went back to the store and told him the cream I bought expired. This man told me he doesn’t accept returns. It was a horrible experience and I’m never going back there again. I wasted my money. I would not recommend
