Merrivale Ice Cream

Limited selection, which if you don't want to spend a lot of time deciding, such as myself, it is easier to decide what you want. I had a Mint Chip and my son, a chocolate. I liked mine but I think 🤔 I have tasted this Mint Chip elsewhere. My son devoured his chocolate 🍦 ice-cream! The price of the portion to amount wasn't the best. When it rains, there isn't anywhere dry to 🪑 sit other than your vehicle. I will keep this place in mind because there is a pizzeria next door 🚪 and my kids love 💓 pizza 🍕 and my son loves chocolate 🍫 🍦 ice-cream!

This place is currently open. We decided to stop in just for the heck of it, and they were open. So not sure why says temporarily closed. They get their ice cream from the same place one of our other favorites does, so we were very happy about that. And they even had different flavors! So that was exciting. Good quality ice cream, good size portions, a little on the expensive side. Only gave 3 stars because it said it was closed and there was a good line of people waiting at the window without anyone helping. Ice Cream is fantastic!

Google listing (indicated as being updated by owner 3 weeks ago) said open until 9. It was September 5th (a Friday night) at 7:15 pm and it was closed.

No line but a bit of a wait as the only employee seemed to be busy attending to something else. But no worries, my daughter was too busy running around the play area anyhow. The young man serving was nice and was quick after realizing we were waiting. We picked 2 different flavors and I have to say the portions were a great size. I didn't love the taste but would be happy to try a different flavor in the future.

Online hours say open until 8pm. We arrived to find a closed ice cream window with hours written as 7:30pm. It was 7:32pm and they refused to serve us. I let them know the hours online said 8pm and they might want to update that for the future and the woman told me I was incorrect. Well I wouldn't have driven 20 minutes with my two toddlers for us to be turned away with no other ice cream shops in the vicinity. Bad service
