Mercersburg Inn

We had such a wonderful stay at Mercersburg Inn! It was the perfect spot for our ski trip, so close and convenient to Whitetail which made everything easy and stress free. The property is absolutely beautiful and our room was very clean. From the moment we were greeted at arrival to the time we checked out, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. We also had the pleasure of dining at Byron's Dining Room, and the food was fantastic. The filet was perfectly cooked, and the lamb shank was delicious as well. Bread was on point and the caesar salad was tasty. Breakfast the next morning did not disappoint either. Our servers for dinner, as well as breakfast, were both pleasant and prompt. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and this will now be our go to spot to stay in

We had a great stay and overall a good experience staying here. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The room was nice, pretty comfortable and overall had everything we needed. We stayed in one of the rooms in the carriage house. The shared kitchen is a little odd and could be much nicer with some focused attention. We didn't need the space so it wasn't much of a detractor for us but if you plan on using it it's not really stocked. We ate dinner one night and had two breakfasts while staying. The dinner was pretty good, especially considering the reasonable prices. Both breakfasts were really good with several options to choose from, and the service was nice as well. Overall a good experience and we would stay here again.

I rarely leave negative feedback, but feel that perspective guests should have an accurate description of The Mercersburg Inn. We stayed in room 18 in the Carriage House. It was a disappointment and nothing like what was advertised, especially for the price. We were expecting a charming room that gave a classic old-time feel. However, the room is an outdated collection of old and mismatched furniture and decorations that appeared to be thrown together with very little thought. It reminded us of a college kid’s first apartment with furniture and decorations handed down from grandma or bought from a garage sale. The bedroom nightstands were two mismatched end tables turned sideways. The glass closet door was cracked and glued back together. Decorations consisted of multiple crocheted items

My wife and I had a great stay and we enjoyed our time at the Inn. We needed a place close to whitetail for just one night and our room (room #14) served us well. It was a large room with a fireplace and it was nice and cozy. Tomi was great as was the breakfast. The room was quiet and well appointed. We enjoyed roaming around the massive mansion and will be back soon

We had our elopement at the Mercersburg Inn this past weekend. From the moment we toured, Tomi, the innkeeper was amazing. During the tour, she helped us envision our wedding. She showed us the different places to do our ceremony. She was very accommodating throughout the preparation leading up to the wedding and made sure everything went smoothly. We had our intimate ceremony right in the lobby between the stairs. The cocktail hour was beside the lobby at the bar. They had a great selection of liquor, wine, and beer. The bartender was fast and made great drinks! Our dinner was amazing! Tomi took our orders ahead of time ensuring we could get the food we wanted. Both Tomi and our server/bartender were great!
