Merced Cafe & Bar

I had lunch at Merced with a neighborhood group of 20 people, and of course our organizer had called ahead. They had a table set up for us and our server, Mary, did a great job of getting the orders in, and serving everyone correctly and pretty quick for so much volume all at once. She was pleasant and efficient, and did it all pretty much alone. Another server or helper brought out a few of the meals, and a person I took to be the chef came out to check that everything was OK. The food was excellent. Several people had the chile rellenos from the appetizer section as their lunch entree, and they looked really good. My wife and I shared the Philly cheesesteak, and it was a good lunch for the two of us. The o-rings were an upcharge for a side over fries or a salad, and they were excellent.

Food is super good! Loved the pancakes and my chicken skillet was fantastic. The waitress said it was her first day but she was sweet, efficient and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean and lovely. Great coffee . We WILL be back. So worth it!

Best breakfast restaurant in the area. They don't disappoint. Winter hours are 7 - 2pm.

What a hidden gem! They made the old Eck's saloon into a fantastic restaurant and event center. The ballroom is gorgeous. The food is too notch. The breakfast burrito is huge! Chili rellanos are legit. We had a small gathering in the back room. Not a bad plate served. Service is phenomenal. It is a must try! Ready for us to have a large event here.

This is a hidden gem that needs to be known about! Excellent food and the staff is friendly and on top of it! We have tried many dishes and all are excellent
