Welcoming cafe serving dishes prepared with high quality ingredients. The pastries and desserts are scrumptious without being overly sweet. Delicious, full flavoured coffee. Short, well prepared menu that changes regularly. The Greek fries cooked extra crisp are a treat. Overflow seating in the attached Dōrothéa Fine Greek restaurant along with patio seating.
The people working there were so friendly and nice. The egg brioche breakfast sandwich is absolutely on point as well as the latte art. Only feedback I would say is the music is a little loud if you're trying to have a work meeting or concentrate
I genuinely dislike having to write this, as I love the atmosphere and the neighborhood, but after five visits, I can no longer ignore the consistent issues with the service. While the shop itself is beautiful, the staff has been consistently rude and dismissive. I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the pattern is now impossible to ignore. This past Saturday, my mother politely asked for an oat milk substitution, and the employee taking our order responded in a very sharp, unpleasant tone with no offer of an alternative. Later, the employee making our drinks--a woman with a distinct vine/leaf tattoo across her arm--was just as cold. I have dealt with her every visit, and her attitude is consistently dismissive. On a prior occasion, I thanked her twice for my drink; she loo
I went to meraki for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! The service was amazing! I think her name was Abigail, but she was very attentive when I was apprehensive about what to get, and helped me find something I loved! She was very friendly and helpful. I tried the Greek yogurt parfait which was so fresh and extremely creamy. I also got a macchiato, and it was the best thing I’ve ever tried. I feel normal places like Starbucks don’t know how to make good coffee like that, I will definitely be coming back! Between the cleanliness and liveliness of the actual store, plus the good food and coffee, I’ll be a regular there!
Stopped into today on our way into town for the holidays. Had a wonderful experience for the second time, having stopped in a couple years back as well for coffee and pastries. This time we were able to make it for a late lunch. We had the Meraki burger and the spartan bowl. Both were incredible! And as always, lovely, friendly staff, great ambiance… Service was efficient despite being apparently busy! Can’t recommend enough
