Mendoza's Carniceria Taqueria

I absolutely love this place! The Caldo de Res is amazing! I come from San Fernando valley and its hard to compete with that down there, but mendozas did it! And they did it better! The servers here are super nice! And the meat selection they have in their storefront is top notch. Had to buy 10lbs of the yellow chicken (IYKYK) for grilling and it did not go to waste. The whole family enjoyed it and wants more! This place will keep you coming back for sure.

First time I saw this place while visiting the DMV, I knew I was going to eat here. I can happily say that I am not disappointed. Very good Mexican food coupled with great service and friendly smiles ensures a return trip for food in the future. Highly recommended.

OK, Mendoza's!!! I stopped through on a 2500mile road trip for some lunch and got caught by surprise. This little shop was unexpected! Everything I had (a bunch of tacos) was excellent. The chorizo and pastor were both intensely flavorful and smoky, the chorizo especially so, not dry, but not soggy either (I usually prefer greasy chorizo, but this had some char, and was just ungreasy enough to catch me at a great middle ground that I didn't know existed). The lengua and cabeza both SLAPPED. Soft abd savory and fatty and falling out the taco exactly how it's supposed to. The cabeza was salty in a great way, and the lengua was a brilliant counter that with a very subtle sweetness. The buche was cooked up to be both soft and crispy somehow, and just was an excellent texture experience. Over

OMG! One of the Best Mexican Restaurants & Grocery stores combined on the planet! Everything was fresh & tasty and prices are good too! Good music, tv sports, comfortable chairs and booths, You won't leave hungry! Go see Freddy he's awesome! Bring the friends & Family! 5 stars 👍

We stumbled on this place by chance when waiting for my oil change and we are so glad we did!!!! It's hard to find good Mexican food outside of Los Angeles and this place definitely holds up. We ordered a ton of food and everything tastes good. Would recommend.
