Came here for their Chinese New Year’s event and was surprised at how good the food was. I’ve explored a little bit of the vegan food scene in LA and happy to say this is a great addition. There are two separate entrances which is a bit confusing but we were eventually sat in the outdoor area. They’re a tea house with a wide selection of choices. We tried the milky oolong which was excellent. We could’ve seeped it longer for a richer taste. Food wise, I don’t think we got one bad dish. Smashed cucumber 5/5 - not your typical take on this dish, heavy on the cilantro which I love and came with carrots, great level of spice Dumplings 4.5/5 - couldn’t tell these were vegan Baby carrots 4/5 - probably the most interesting dish, tasted more like a dessert, baby carrots covered in a sweet se

Highly recommend! Good was amazing! Staff was very helpful and polite! 👍 Highly recommend the Monkey Buns and the Sweet n Sour Mushroom. Cucumber salad was pretty good also. Dumplings were mid but not bad. Can't wait to return to try more food!

Had my birthday party in the private room at Men & Beast and everything was perfect. The food was INCREDIBLE, the service was top tier, and my whole group couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. Special shoutout to Maddie for being so sweet, patient, and always checking in on us. If you’re thinking about hosting an event here, DO IT. Or just pop in for a bite. Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. One of my favorite spots now!

Finally got a chance to visit after hearing about this place. It was extremely hard to find parking. There was a lot of sidewalk damage in front of the restaurant which made it look disastrous (not their fault) We ordered Rangoon, buns, and dumplings to start. For dinner we ordered the whole wok section The monkey buns, biang noodles, and sweet sour mushrooms were very good. The mushrooms could have used a little more sauce but they were very airy and delicious The truffled fried rice had no truffles (unless they were tiny) and just tasted like truffle oil which was sad for what they charge. Tofu was bland, the green beans inside were more flavorful. The green bean dish left an awful taste in my mouth until the next day and I’m assuming it was the “pork”. I would suggest taking out the

Cute silverlake Chinese vegan spot. Great “pork” dumplings and mushroom bao. Liked king pao tofu (didn’t love the fried rice). Nice service.
