Mel's Diner

We showed up there, waited fifteen minutes before any waitress came to our table. Three different tables got seated and served before anybody acknowledged us. When they did come to our table to finally take our drink order. We we proceeded to order our food because we knew what we wanted because of the long wait.So we went to go order food, and the older lady said no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, not right now. We understand people get busy and that's okay, but we weren't acknowledged at all.And they were also kind of rude.When we did try to order.

Mel's diner great place to get an early breakfast and lunch in. Service is quick at times when they aren't too busy. Seating can be available upon arrival no wait time. Depending on when you go there's different levels of noises and groups. Staff are friendly and always welcoming you!

This was our Sunday breakfast spot usually no problems but this time the peppers in my wife’s omelette were burnt the toast was too well done my bacon was too well done my wife took 2 bites & couldn’t eat it. & when we told them about it they took 3 dollars offf. What an insult they didn’t offer to make her a new one or anything after taking to them about how un happy I was the tiny discount the manager/waitress made it seem like it was our fault !!! Finally she took her omelette off the bill but way too late there are other diners in the area I will not be back !!!

My husband and I love this little diner. Our first time here this morning. Customer service was top rate, food was good and was presented well. Will definitely be going back while here in Florida!

The food at this place is just like a home cooked meal that grandma would make. I got the fish and chips last time I was here and the breading was very flavorful and so light and crispy. The Haddock was fried perfectly and had plenty of moisture still. The fries aka chips were slightly breaded and perfectly crisp and tender inside. I will definitely be back here for more. I will probably try their breakfast next time. I hear very good things.
