Mel's diner

I didn’t have any food, but the people were so polite in here, and it’s so cool too. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the food. I go into every gas station in the world it seems and this one really stood out. Worth the stop.

The place has that perfect small-town diner charm—warm, welcoming, and filled with friendly folks who make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I ordered the Chubby Checker burger, and WOW… this thing was massive and incredible. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, stacked high with fresh toppings, and served on a bun that held everything together like a champ. A true hidden gem! Inside the gas station towards the back, beautifully decorated with lots of Elvis and other old Hollywood famous star memorabilia. Love the old school diner style. The menu choices are super creative and unique to Elvis! Brought my kids and we enjoyed looking around at everything while waiting for our food. Service was great, staff was kind and friendly at every interaction, food was AMAZING!! Best burger I have had in so long. We're pretty picky too, so I was so happy with our experience. We will definitely be coming back again now that we know about this place! We can't wait to try the malted milkshakes next time!!

A hidden gem in Grant Parish. Great place for Elvis fans! The black and white checkered floors and memorobilia are sure to invoke nostalgia. I've tried all of the burgers, which I highly recommend. The Philly cheese steak is also very good.
