Melone & Sons has an absolutely stunning atmosphere that sets it apart! Beautiful space, warm and attentive service, and a great overall experience. The food has room to improve to match the excellence of everything else, but it's still a very enjoyable visit. Highly recommend for the ambiance alone!

Been here several times over the years to buy fresh loaves. The last 3 times that I've been here the very same illegal kept telling me with a nasty attitude "No bread, come back in 25 minutes" Random visits, always 25 min ? I live on the other side of the island so this is not a short haul. I was wearing a U.S. Army Veteran's hat ? I'm always very polite no matter who it is, but this guy is really trying my patience ? Update, no return calls from Mr. Lee Melone ? I left several messages too ? I went into the shop and the Vato was coughing on the bread as he was carrying it. Very bad management.

Fresh beautiful 🍞 bakery. No cake, or pies. This gem is open 7 days a week. The raisin bagels are amazing. Hint this isn't your regular bread, this has to be stored properly within a couple of days, or else it will go bad. Eat, refrigerate, or freeze.

Nice fresh baked bread. Italian bread, semolina bread there's a meat bread and a cheese bread. There is also chocolate chip Italian bread. Sounds weird but it's really good. I cut off pieces and put it in the microwave for 15 seconds and taste amazing. More like a dessert than for dinner.

This bread... is incredible... growing up in Brooklyn I always thought I was eating the best Italian bread, the bread in dyker and bay ridge can't hold a candle to this place. Old school, just bread, the first time I brought the semolina to Christmas everyone was raving and requesting more. The prosciutto bread and the Asiago loaf, just wow... made me realize I had been eating dry, over-priced garbage all my life, truly a revelation... still need to try the olive loaf! family has requested bread from this bakery for every gathering going forward
