Mellow Yellow

If you're looking for a sweet fix, Mellow Yellow is located at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, specifically within The Shops at Omni Amelia Island. It’s not its own standalone building—you’ll find it tucked inside Natural Slice, the surf-inspired pizza shop. This shop was sweet. We walked in and it was relatively empty. It's not season so that makes sense. The couple next to us said the pizza was really good. We had frozen yogurt. They had 4-6 flavors total and a lot of toppings. This is good for families. There is an arcade inside and 2 TVs if you are looking to keep up with sports etc. The waitstaff was kind. A bottle of water is $6 so a little pricey but good nonetheless.

Cute little Fro-Yo dessert bar location in the shoppes at Omni Resorts on Amelia Island. There were about 6-8 fro-yo flavor options to choose from. There were two separate sections for add-on options that include candy, chocolate, fudge, caramel, etc. Inside and outdoor seating available. Attached to a pizza parlor that also has some game machines. Kids will enjoy a break here.

We have LOVED this place in the past, but we have tried it probably 6-8 times over the last month and it’s always struggling. Ice cream flavors out for over a month. One time they had no chocolate or vanilla which both seem pretty critical. The toppings are usually amazing but the whole month it’s been hit and miss. Out of various toppings and lasts for days. It just seems to be a complete after thought to the pizza service and it’s so sad to see a place with such potential fall to the wayside like this :/. Really hoping someone will step up and get it back on track!
