We had a great experience at Mellow Mushroom! Everything was really good – the only thing was that the cheese on the pizza felt a little heavy. Other than that, everything was perfect. The service was good, and even the manager came by our table to check in and make sure everything was good. Really appreciated that touch!”

I’ve been to many locations. Tonight is the first time I ordered their vegan Veg Out pizza that they refused to provide it with a dairy-free crust. Otherwise, what’s the point? The reason? “I know the guy working tonight won’t do it. It’s going to get Parmesan and butter no matter what I write down.” Absolutely unbelievable. Update: the manager is awesome. She made everything right. It just took 80 minutes for a carryout order.

If you’re a super pizza enthusiast, you’ll rate this pizza low. But if you love good pizza, great service, and a clean restaurant, then this place is great. I believe if we had ask for the pizza to be well done, it would’ve been perfect but this place is still getting five stars! Stuffed meatballs was OUTSTANDING!

Our family visits Mellow My shrimp locations when we travel so we hit the Mellow Mushroom Hilton Head. Food - Was good as usual. We had the Buffalo Chicken pizza, the Pacific Rim pizza, Pepperoni pizza, and some wings (beer too). Service - Was okay, maybe not good. Our server was very slow to come by, waited to order a beer more than once and had to ask for boxes and our bill. Pizza took way too long to come out; so bad in fact that the waitress apologized and the manager came by to apologize (we didn’t ask but they did take 10% off the bill). They were busy with take out orders but we took the time to sit and eat there (we waited over 60 minutes for the pizzas). Anyway, the kitchen is not the waitresses fault but again, she didn’t come by too often. Atmosphere - It’s always a cool atmo
