Beautiful. You do have to pay for parking. And they are serious! So make sure you do it right. It is worth it. Once on beach no shoes needed. Wash station. Bathrooms. Very handy hee hee

My favorite place to unwind. Beach is well maintained and not usually very busy depending on where you go. A lot of places have pay parking with limited parking but very family oriented.

Melbourne Beach has always been one of my favorite places to visit. I have been going here since I was a little girl. I love the small-town feel of the city of Melbourne but the gorgeous vast ocean views. The beach is always clean. It is a family oriented environment and not a loud party scene. We have always enjoyed searching for shells at Melbourne. You can find some of the prettiest shells as well as some of the biggest ones, too. I also like having the opportunity to turtle watch at night. I enjoy watching the large turtles come out of the ocean and lay their eggs in the sand on the beach. It is reassuring that the city takes great care of making sure that the turtles are not bothered or harmed in any way but still allowing people to watch their process and educate the visitors a

I love it. The sunrise on the ocean is the best thing. If you're hesitating on getting up tomorrow to see the sunrise, don't it's worth every second.
