Mel-O-Cream Donuts & Crafted Coffee

Great donuts and as an added bonus there’s a giant donut sign out front and a Lincoln, IL sign next to it for some fun photo opportunities.

We stopped for coffee on the way home to St Louis. Decided to give a local shop the business and we drove an additional 10 min past Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts. Waited another 10 min for service inside. Flavor of the month drip coffee was out. No tea. No apple fritters, and very few donuts. Why have Afternoon hours if the product is not available?

I was road tripping between Wisconsin and St. Louis and I decided to take a detour off the interstate to visit Mel-o-Cream. I'm a huge donut connoisseur, and I really enjoyed these. The creme filling was unlike any I've had before and was sweet and delicious. I would definitely consider stopping in again the next time I'm traveling.

I tried ordering at the speaker,window and went inside. No one to be found. I tried calling several times also with no answer! When someone finely answered tge phone it was at least 10 minutes of trying all the above things. Guess I don't need your donuts that bad

A little pricey. Not a great indoor space for seating. The coffee was just so so. The donuts that I had were pretty good. But all in all the place was not very impressive.
