Mekvilai Thai Cuisine

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but when I wished I stayed home because our home cooking is better, I decided to leave a review. I ordered the Fried Pork and the pork had no flavor, they used pineapple from a can and I needed to take some sweet and sour sauce from my husband to make it edible. My husband's sweet and sour chicken barely had any chicken and tasted more like ketchup then sweet and sour sauce. The sticky rice was the strangest my husband ever had. The spring roll had quite old lettuce as well and tasted like the pre chopped lettuce you get at Walmart. It is cheap so for that they get one star.

We had a table of 6 and everyone's food was amazing! Service was fantastic and the pace of delivering food was perfect. We weren't rushed from appetizers to mains and we all greatly appreciated the time to visit. Yellow curry had soooo much flavor with out being too spicey. The peanut sauce for apps was delicious. Highly recommend!

Being half Thai, I can definitely say this is the best Thai restaurant in Catawba County! I love the curry dishes❤️ lots of flavor here! The only concern I have is that when ordering online, the wait time can be up to an hour. Not sure if that’s normal. It may be because of how fresh the food is, but I’ve never had to wait an hour for Thai takeout. Hopefully they find a way to make it more convenient!

The only thing I wish they would change is the music. Some Thai like music would make this spectacular restaurant that much better! The food was some of the best Thai I have ever had! It is cooked to order so your food is always fresh! They even make their own noodles!!! The drunken noodles with scallops was out of this world. Service was 5 stars!!! My husband and I highly recommend you try this place!

There is plenty of parking available. They have a large menu with many vegetarian options. Service was great and the food was delicious! My friend really enjoyed the sticky rice. The red curry was delicious. Prices are affordable. We will definitely return again! Highly recommend
