Mejicali

The food and cocktails at Mejicali are delicious and visually appealing. The service was fast, the atmosphere was great, and when the weather is nice, they even have a fun patio with a playground for kids. I enjoyed the easy way of opening a tab and ordering additional items throughout the evening simply by scanning a QR code at the table. I'll definitely be visiting Mejicali again!

Always incredible. For my money the best casual place in Charlottesville. Good for families and kids but the vibes are great for any time of day or night. Sleeper pick for best wings in town!

The highlights of this place were definitely Damian and Mederio, along with the food and drinks. Unfortunately, our overall impression of the vibe wasn’t great…twice. The first time, we walked in and the place was so silent and empty that I thought they were closed. The second time, a waitress accidentally spilled a full drink on me, completely ruining my hair and outfit. That said, both times they went out of their way to ask what music we wanted to hear, checked in often to make sure we were enjoying our food and drinks, and treated us with genuine friendliness. I understand what others mean about the service being hit-or-miss, but Damian and Mederio were outstanding and truly made up for the negatives.

Wow! Super cool fun atmosphere. You can park in the parking lot for free. We didn't know at first but you can. The first driveway take a left then another left towards the back. You are basically in the back of the building from there. Stairs to the gorgeous patio.

We went around 11:15am and ot 20⁰ outside and it felt like 40⁰ inside after being in there for about 20min. The food was decent, the staff wasn't very engaging and ordering was vis QR code. It was low energy. Thought it would've been better my 2nd visit, as my 1st visit wasn't any better. Was there on a Friday evening with about 20-25 patrons. Stood at the bar waiting to order for a good 10 minutes even after the female bartender saw us walk up. She didn't greet us and say I'll be with shortly or anything of that nature to acknowledge new patrons. She just walked away and kept doing other things talk to other patrons at the bar. When I went to the other end of the bar a male bartender acknowledge me and took my order as he was making drinks for other patrons then she wanted to walk up and
