If you're looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine in Northern Virginia, MeJana in Arlington is an absolute gem. The food is consistently outstanding and truly captures the flavors of Lebanon. Everything we tried was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The mezza selections are fantastic, the grilled dishes are perfectly seasoned, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. But the real highlight for me was the knafeh (kenefe) -- easily one of the best I've had. Warm, perfectly sweet, with that ideal balance of crispy and creamy that makes this dessert unforgettable. First time trying Lebanese food and we weren't disappointed. We started with the stuffed grapes leaves and then each had the Kafta skewers with beef and lamb. The Lebanese Cabernet wine was good too. Out server was very friendly and helpful.

Eh. The food was fine, the service was medium, though our server was nice. The portions are very small for the price and they apparently don't offer their sandwiches/lunch menu on Saturdays. Who wants to eat a $44 lamb chop at 11:30a in the morning? The picture I've posted is the Shish Taouk (chicken kebab) which is insultingly small for $28 (phone for scale). The rice was pretty bland and they forgot our toum. I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
