I came across Mehman through Google, and decided to try a new restaurant. I saw that the biryani and lollipop chicken were to die for so I took a chance and got them. I also got the mango lassi and Aloo Paratha. I walked in and ordered everything to take out. The owner was very nice and welcoming. He gave me a menu and told me to sit, take my time before ordering and ask him if any recommendations. After ordering, he was very grateful and thankful for chosing his restaurant since he doesn't have any advertising other than his highest rating on google in the area. He also thanked everyone else in the restaurant for coming in and made a welcoming establishment for his customers. COME HERE FOR BENGALI FOOD! My friend took me here and I left with a full belly and motivation to write a 5 star review. First of all, the owner is very kind and the staff was attentive. The food was INCREDIBLE… the biryani pot was out of this world. Get it. I also got the chicken tikka which had a very unique sweet flavor. The chicken lollipop (appetizer) was unique and delicious. I asked for my mango lassi less sweet and it was so good.. fresh. To top it all off, they gave us desert on the house (doi). All I have to say is come here.

Found them on instagram, and was not disappointed. Staff was very kind, hospitable, and attentive to requests. The internal atmosphere had a verg welcoming vibe. Food went above expectations and very reasonable portions for the price. We were given a free desert toward the end. Overall, I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a Bengali dinner with a top tier service and atmosphere.

We had dinner at MEHMAN with our family. The food is delicious. It’s authentic and elevated in flavor. Not similar to the restaurants around the area. If you want to enjoy a different type of Indian cuisine this place is definitely a try! We can’t wait to go back!

Incredible experience at Mehman! We were on a hunt for authentic, high-quality Mishti Doi for my nephew and were told by a local to try this place. It did not disappoint—the flavor was amazing and it felt very fresh. The owner is also one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve met. If you want real-deal sweet yogurt, this is the place. We can't wait to return and try their other dishes!
