Medi Wine Bar & Restaurant

The food was excellent, but that’s not the only reason that made me leave this review. The service is excellent including atmosphere and music. Bruno was our server and got to tell you very sweet gentleman and attentive. The manager Pedro stopped by to check on us and helped us with our requests. We ordered cauliflower with humus, excellent choice and as main course we got the branzino, great portion excellent taste and fingerling potatoes. Highly recommend this place if you’re down for great food and service!

Great variety of happy hour food and libations! Loved the large bar area to sit and have happy hour at waiting for everyone to arrive, and then moved to the back garden to be seated for dinner! Loved being outdoors in mid-September enjoying the last vestiges of summer. Had the Prosecco - crisp, effervescent and perfectly large pour! Then later had the Medi Mojito which came in a large glass that everyone envied. Happy Hour oysters were delicious and plentiful - should have asked for more cocktail sauce and horse radish. Loved all our meals! Burger, tagliatelle special with lobster and cherry tomatoes, steak, great seasoned fries and Brussels sprouts. Definitely a great choice in Hell’s Kitchen! Will be back.

Visited Medi tonight (Tuesday) and had an amazing experience. It was slow, so I hope this review can sway some people to check this place out. Our server was so kind and attentive, some of the best service I’ve ever had. The food was excellent. Good portions in my opinion, and lots of fresh ingredients. The wine was also top notch. Overall, very calm and cozy atmosphere. Our server made this experience so welcoming and personal, and I hope this place and people get the recognition they deserve.

Came here for a team dinner. It was as good as I thought it would be. For appetizers my side of the table had the Spanish Octopus, Mussels, Clams & Sausage, and a variety of Pita bread dip. There were other appetizers too that my coworkers thoroughly enjoyed. They have a lot of seafood options and salads. Very vegetarian friendly! For my main I had the Lamb combo medium well with okra 😮‍💨 the flavor was there and lamb complemented the veggies so well. Would recommend if you are in the area.

We reserved for Sunday night and we got there earlier and they were flexible, and gave us a table within a few minutes. Service was fast and responsive, especially with our server Boyan. The ambience is very romantic, lots of candles, European music, not too loud allowing conversation, and soft lighting was a bonus. Food were big portioned and delicious. I highly recommend getting the lamb combo, which was the favorite of the evening for me. The sangria pitcher for only $30 was subtly strong and very flavorful. Overall, dining at Medi was a great experience! Love that they have an extra private dining space downstairs that’s also as charming. **Please note happy hour only applies at the bar.
