Meconi’s Italian Subs

Consistently fresh and delicious sandwiches at good prices! I recently ordered 2 custom party platters and 2 salads for a baby shower. Everything was ready right at pickup time and was incredibly fresh. It's a great, local shop that I'm happy to support.

Meatball sub with extra cheese - Wife loved it. Philly Cheese Steak with extra meat - It was good but a little dry. I even added mayo, but it still was a little dry. But really good flavor. Both sandwiches were extremely fresh and hot. I took the 2nd half of my sandwich home, and it was still hot, not warm, but hot over an hour later. Half a sandwich is more than enough, especially if you get extra meat.

Nice friendly people work there. Food comes out in a timely manner. It was my first time at Meconi’s and I will definitely be back. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was a Ooi gooey deliciously made perfectly toasted sandwich. I observed several customers coming in ordering the sandwich they wanted and doctoring it up with add-ons making it the way they wanted. The person taking the order was cool like a cucumber, taking orders and answering the phone at the same time. Amazing local business that deserves your support over those other franchise sandwich shops.

All those cars out front I thought ok, this is the place..but it was Very quiet. Wasn't greeted right away. Ordered a combo meal, combo sandwich..supposed to have 3 meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion..herbs..if it wasn't for the HUGE French roll bun I wouldn't have filled up, but I'd have rather filled up with the proteins. They did alot better when ops bought the drive crew a collection of sandwiches. I guess the more you buy the more you get..shouldn't have to be that way. Here's the tail end of the French roll w flavors I had for lunch.

Consistently a great sandwich experience. I use their Italian as the standard in which to judge other sandwich shops. Fresh bread and toppings make for a great sandwich no matter my mood that day.
