Meche's Donut King

Coworker got donuts this morning. Not sure what was going on at this location, but they were literally dripping with grease!!!!!!! You could squeeze the grease out of them! We couldn’t even eat 1/2 of 1 donut. This location definitely didn’t live up to the standard that the Guilbeau location has set!

Wanted a boudin kolache and I didn’t want to walk to the union at UL and I thought their stuff was high (I was wrong). I was going back home anyways so I decided to get the donuts on the way home. Someone needs to post updated prices on here because it was much cheaper to get the donuts and kolache at school and honestly it tastes better there. These donuts and stuff weren’t bad but boy are they a lot 😅. 3 donuts and the boudin kolache was like $8 and the kolache was $4 of that. Inflation really sucks. Worker was nice though and I got my stuff quickly. I know it’s hard but if you aren’t rich, ask for the prices before you buy and don’t feel pressured to purchase

I made sure I stopped before I left! I do wish they had the flavor coffees on the menu but the boudin kolache was so good. I had two glazes - super fluffy and fresh at 830a. The cinnamon roll tastes more like a honey bun but it’s good

Definitely some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Really big and soft, they’re not too sweet and not too sticky either. Even though they were closing soon I was able to buy some anyway which I appreciated.

Best. King. Cake. Period. They custom made my king cake with both lemon and blueberry!
