Mecha Noodle Bar

I’m so glad I stumbled upon Mecha Noodle Bar on my first day in the Seaport. I sat at the bar and was served by Josh L., who was incredibly attentive; his cocktail game is top-notch! Since I wasn’t starving, I asked for small, flavorful plates—Josh’s recommendations were absolutely spot on. The atmosphere was buzzing and made for a perfect first night in Boston. UPDATE: ​I actually enjoyed it so much that I came back the very next day! This time, Aaron P. took care of me, and the experience was just as outstanding. Aaron was super friendly and kept the great vibes going. Sorry, Josh—you were great, but Aaron might have won me over! This is officially my go-to spot whenever I’m in town

I was debating between here and another noodle place, and I’m very happy I chose here. I had family from L.A. who brought a baby and they also had high praise. I got the veggie ramen with added greens and it was excellent. There were layers of flavors that complimented each other perfectly. I’d happily make the 30 minute drive to come here again and introduce other friends and family to the ramen. The atmosphere was modern and chic and the service was good.

Been visiting for years -- a long overdue review. The food is always magic and the drinks make it even better. Their sake on tap, Bushido, is a favorite with the mushroom dumplings, General Tso shrimp, but please start with the kale salad. Wow. Perfect for apps or a hearty meal.

First time visiting. My friend and I came straight down to the restaurant right after our flight. We wanted a hearty protein and delicious Ramen/Pho. This restaurant had very good appetizers but did not deliver on their ramen & pho dishes. We ordered five different things from the appetizers and we were not disappointed in any of them; the mushroom dumplings, Bao smash burger and spare ribs stole the show for us. Those 3 things are a must order. The customer service was wonderful as well. I asked for a drink to be removed because I felt like it was watered down and our hostess kindly took it off and replaced it. But the chicken pho And spicy beef Ramen were a disappointment. I recommend for the appetizers only but not the noodle dishes.

I spent the wholeday exploring Seaport, easily walking 20 miles and decided to end my day at this cute restaurant to grab dinner. It was pretty cold and snowing so this place looked perfect. I was exhausted after my day and alittle taken aback that all around was stool seating. I was ready to go somewhere else but a waitress led me to the bar stools, which had backs. To start I got the thai tea, spicy tuna roll and the steamed boa buns which I really enjoyed 10/10. I then got Pho (brisket) for main. The Pho broth was good, I just thought it was way too much given for the noodle quantity. I ended up filling up on the broth and and couldn't finish most of the meal. When I visit again, I definitely want to try more of their menu items, but I'll probably do take-out.
