Mecatos Bakery & Café

Mecatos is an excellent Columbian pastry and café. We stopped by after our morning walk and discovered this gem. Excellent pastries and the coffee is delicious. Too many amazing pastries to choose from here. You can easily just close your eyes and pick anything and whatever it is, it will be fantastic.

What a great experience we had here! The food quality and taste out of this world! Price is super accessible and definitely a place you should stop and try if you’re near by! The coffee and absolutely everything is worthy here!

I drove all the way from Clermont to get a true taste of Colombia, and it did not disappoint! The buñuelos were perfectly golden and fluffy — just the way they should be. The pan de bono was warm and cheesy heaven, and the beer empanadas were simply out of this world. Every bite tasted authentic and fresh. The coffee (Arabic) was amazing too — imported directly from Colombia and roasted locally, it was the perfect finish to the meal. The environment is clean, the ambience is inviting, and the staff were all so amazing and helpful, making me feel right at home. Definitely worth the trip — I’ll be back again and again!
